Joseph has been studying the moon and planets in his 3rd grade class. I have had fun helping him complete a 3 week project of his observations of the moon. Twice a week he records his findings of the moon phase, temperature outside, etc. My circle punches have come in quite handy in making little moon diagrams. I always loved elementary school!

yes, mom. we actually had it out that night... but couldn't get the moon in focus. we found it in the side scope, but not through the eyepiece. i told the boys we'll need a lesson from lolo when you both roll through next time!
