Finally, the signs of Spring reveal themselves here in NC. For fun, can any of you name the (2) birds shown? Bonus points for anyone who can explain why we have a baseball hanging from our tree. I should add that the baseball is way up high in the tree, out of reach.

but i don't know why the baseball is way up high in your tree, or how it got there! maybe to check the wind velocity! who put it up there??

jay... a hairy woodpecker is for real!... tho' i really don't know why it's called that! i am sure it has feathers, tho come to think of it, they do look alittle fuzzy around the head... unkept even! could use a smooth shave! lisa.. could you check that out!
not sure about the birds... but I am pretty sure that the baseball in the tree has something to do with an attempt at cutting down a tree ;o)
